Shipping Terms

GLIMMER TRADING CO., LTD.

These shipping terms apply only to the menswear shipping services provided by GLIMMER TRADING CO., LTD (hereinafter referred to as "our company") to customers in the EU region. They aim to clarify the rights and obligations of both parties during the transportation process and ensure a smooth and orderly flow of goods. By placing an order through our website (glimmertradebiz.com) or reaching a purchase agreement with us, customers are deemed to have accepted all the contents of these terms. Any special agreements must be confirmed in a separate written agreement signed by both parties.

I. Shipping Related Agreements

  1. Shipping Time: After receiving full payment from the customer (or a valid payment voucher) and confirming the order information is correct, our company will arrange for the goods to be shipped within 5-7 business days. In the event of EU statutory holidays, Chinese statutory holidays, or force majeure events (such as natural disasters, port congestion, logistics strikes, etc.), the shipping time will be extended accordingly. Our company will notify the customer in advance via email (ceo@glimmertradebiz.com).
  2. Shipping Preparation: Our company will package men's clothing products according to international transportation standards, using moisture-proof, shock-proof, and pressure-resistant packaging materials to ensure the goods are not damaged during transportation. The packaging will clearly indicate the product name, quantity, gross/net weight, country of origin, and our company name, complying with EU import packaging regulations.
  3. Shipping Notification: Within 24 hours of shipment, our company will provide the customer with the tracking number, logistics tracking link, and estimated arrival time via email. The customer can use this link to check the real-time status of the shipment.

II. Transportation-Related Agreements

  1. Transportation Time: The estimated transportation time for goods from China to the customer's designated destination in the EU (excluding remote areas within the EU) is 15-25 calendar days. This timeframe is for reference only; actual transportation time may fluctuate due to transportation methods, customs clearance speed, weather, and other force majeure factors. Our company will make every effort to coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery, but will not be liable for indirect losses caused by delays.
  2. Transportation Method: Our company will select the appropriate international transportation method (sea freight, air freight, or multimodal transport) based on the customer's order quantity and delivery requirements, prioritizing safe, efficient, and compliant logistics partners to ensure smooth delivery of goods to their EU destination.
  3. Scope of Transportation: This clause covers all EU member states (including countries within the EU Customs Union). For remote areas (areas requiring additional remote area fees from the logistics provider), the customer will need to bear the remote area fees separately. Our company will inform and confirm this with the customer in advance before shipment.

III. Customs and Tax Agreement

  1. Customs Clearance Responsibility: Our company is responsible for providing all compliant documents required for export (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, etc.) and assisting with export customs clearance procedures. EU import customs clearance procedures are the responsibility of the customer. The customer needs to understand and comply with relevant EU import regulations and men's clothing product access standards (such as CE certification, REACH certification, etc.) in advance and prepare all necessary import documents.
  2. Tax Responsibility: The customer is responsible for all customs duties, value-added tax (VAT), and other related taxes and fees required for imports into the EU region. Customers are required to pay relevant taxes and fees in a timely manner according to EU customs requirements. If the customer's failure to pay taxes and fees on time results in delays, detention, or return of goods, all costs incurred (demurrage fees, return freight, fines, etc.) shall be borne by the customer, and our company shall not bear any responsibility.
  3. Customs Clearance Delays: For customs clearance delays caused by incomplete or non-compliant customs documents provided by the customer, or failure to cooperate with customs inspections in a timely manner, the customer shall bear the responsibility. For delays caused by adjustments to EU customs policies or changes in inspection procedures, our company will promptly notify the customer and assist in resolving the issue, but will not bear any related losses.

IV. Liability and Risk Transfer for Goods

  1. Risk of Goods: Before the goods leave our warehouse and are handed over to the carrier, the risk is borne by our company. After the goods are handed over to the carrier, the risk transfers to the customer. For damage, loss, or delays caused by logistics company operational errors or force majeure (natural disasters, war, strikes, etc.) during transportation, our company will assist the customer in claiming compensation from the logistics company or insurance company. The claim result is subject to the verification by the logistics company or insurance company, and our company will not bear any additional liability for compensation.
  2. Inspection of Goods: EU customs has the right to conduct random inspections of imported goods. If the inspection requires opening the packaging, it may result in minor damage to the packaging (not affecting the product itself). The customer acknowledges this, and our company will not bear any liability for compensation related to packaging damage. If the inspection finds that the goods do not meet EU import standards and are detained or destroyed, the customer will bear the responsibility.
  3. Insurance Agreement: Our company defaults to insuring the goods with basic cargo transportation insurance (covering basic risks such as loss and damage) at 110% of the total value of the goods. The insurance premium is included in the transportation cost. If the customer requires higher coverage or additional insurance coverage, they must communicate with our company in advance and pay the additional insurance premium. The insurance terms will be confirmed separately by both parties.

V. Transportation Cost Agreement

  1. Cost Composition: The transportation cost includes the freight from our warehouse in China to the customer's designated destination in the EU, basic insurance, and export customs clearance assistance fees. It does not include EU import duties, remote area fees, demurrage fees, or costs incurred for additional services specified by the customer.
  2. Payment: The transportation cost can be paid by the customer together with the payment for the goods, or by other methods agreed upon by both parties. If the customer fails to pay the transportation cost on time, our company has the right to delay shipment until the customer settles all charges.
  3. Fee Adjustment: If transportation costs increase due to fluctuations in international logistics freight rates, adjustments to fuel surcharges, or changes in EU customs policies, our company will notify the customer 7 working days in advance. Both parties will then negotiate and confirm the fee adjustment. If the customer does not agree to the adjustment, they may choose to cancel the order (but will be responsible for any incurred preparation costs).

VI. Other Agreements

  1. The customer must accurately provide the detailed address, contact person, and contact information of the EU destination. If the goods cannot be delivered, are delayed, or are returned due to incorrect information provided by the customer, all costs and losses incurred will be borne by the customer.
  2. Upon receiving the goods, the customer must check the quantity, appearance, and condition of the goods within 3 working days. If any damage, loss, or quantity discrepancy is found, the customer must promptly take photos and notify our company via email (ceo@glimmertradebiz.com). Our company will assist the customer in handling claims. Failure to notify within the stipulated time will be deemed as confirmation that the goods are correct.
  3. Matters not covered in these terms shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. If the negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit in the people's court with jurisdiction in the location of our company.
  4. Our company may revise these terms and conditions in accordance with EU logistics policies, customs regulations, and market changes. The revised terms and conditions will be published on our website (glimmertradebiz.com) and will take effect 7 working days after the publication date. Continued cooperation with our company constitutes acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
